Following the nomination of our self-order and self-payment kiosks in the Machine Intelligence category of the Auto Vending Innovation Awards, Self Service Kiosks General Manager Chris Evans was presented with a certificate for Highly Commended in this category at the Gala Innovation Awards Dinner held in London.
Chris said "Innovation through the development of intelligent technology is clearly at the heart of our business. As we continue to deploy our kiosks into businesses the immediate labour savings and increased sales volumes are 2 of the instant benefits that are evident".
In recent trials on a like for like basis - kiosk v counter service, the self-service and self payment kiosks produced a 7% higher average order value than the traditional counter model.
